Angham to Commemorate 89th Saudi National Day on Sept. 22

Egyptian Superstars Angham, Mohammed Abdu and Turki Abdullah will perform live at Prince Sultan Cultural Center in Jazan, Saudi Arabia, on September 22.

It comes on the sidelines of 89th Saudi National Day celebrations.

The festival will also feature the performance of another Egyptian superstar, Sherine Abdel-Wahab who will perform live in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on September 23.

Angham and her husband, music disturber Ahmed Ibrahim, was honored last Friday at the 10th edition of Arab Satellite Festival.

Saudi Arabian National day, known as Al-Yaom-ul-Watany, is always marked on 23 September.

The day – became a public holiday in 2007 – commemorates Saudi King Abdulaziz announcement of the unification of the country as a kingdom in 1932.

Moreover, it is scheduled for Angham to perform tomorrow, Friday at Hilton Alexandria King’s Ranch, in Alexandria Governorate, amid a large crowd.

The event will begin at 09:00 pm (Cairo local time).

Angham’s latest artistic work is her album “Hala Khasa Gedan”, which were released earlier this year by Rotana Production Company.

The album consists of 14 songs.

In this album, she cooperates with a large number of poets and composers, including Amir Teima, Khaled Ezz, Bahaa El Din Mohamed, Mostafa El-Asal, Karim Usama, Ahmed Ibrahim, and Walid Fayed.

Ibrahim had collaborated with the singer in distributing six songs on her new album.

The performer, born on January 19, 1972, is an Egyptian singer, record producer, and actress.

She sang as a child and heralded the birth of a new musical generation.

Angham made her debut in 1987 under the guidance of her father, prominent Egyptian musician Mohamed Aly Suleiman.

The star performed for the first time in public during Cairo’s Radio syndicate ceremony because they were looking for new voices to artistically adopt them.

She has issued several albums the first of which was released in 1987. Her hit song called “La Lei Lei La Lei” has brought her much fame.

The singer-actress is considered to be one of the most successful vocal female singers in Egypt and in the Middle East.

She was named the best selling female pop artist in the Middle East for the year 2003. She is well known for her vocal range, simplicity, and style.

The performer got married and porced three times, during which she gave birth to a boy named Omar, and to another named Abdel Rahman.
