Angham Hospitalized after Suffering Health Scare

Egyptian superstar Angham was hospitalized following a sudden health scare, forcing her to postpone gigs.

The acclaimed singer's reps announced in a statement posted on her social media, that she was admitted to a hospital following the deterioration of her health condition which required her to undergo urgent surgery.

The operation led to complications and being hospitalized.

She also postponed her upcoming gigs until her health stabilizes.

Angham, born on January 19, 1972, is a singer, record producer, and actress.

She sang as a child, heralding the birth of a new musical generation. The performer made her debut in 1987 under the guidance of her father, prominent Egyptian musician Mohamed Aly Suleiman.

Angham performed in public during Cairo’s Radio syndicate ceremony for the first time, as they were looking for new voices to artistically adopt them.

The acclaimed singer has released several albums the first of which was released in 1987. Her hit song called “La Lei Lei La Lei” has brought her much fame.
