Amr Youssef to Star in New Film

Egyptian actor, Amr Youssef will star in a new film titled "El Fares" (The Knight).

Youssef will collaborate with producer Mohamed El Sobky in the new production.

In 2019, the actor starred in his latest artistic work, “Welad Rizk 2”.

It also featured Ahmed Ezz, Ahmed El Fishawy, Karim Kassem, Mohamed Mamdouh, and others.

Youssef was slated to participate last Ramadan with TV series TV series “El Malek” (the king).

However, the series exit from the drama marathon after a huge controversy sparked following the release of the series' teaser over the series, costumes’ designs, battles, and the actors’ styles, and historical mistakes.

Therefore, the producers decided to suspend the production and form a committee to revise the historical events of the series and rewrite the script.
