Algeria announced that it will charter 10 planes for fans who wish to attend AFCON semi-final game against Nigeria on Sunday.

The clash will be held in Cairo Stadium at 9:00 pm CLT.

The Algerian Prime Minister Noureddine Bedoui said that the planes will be chartered from airports of Algiers, Oran, Constantine and Ouargla to Cairo on Saturday.

AFCON quarter-finals ended on Wednesday with victory for Senegal and Nigeria over Benin and South Africa respectively.

The Desert Warriors, CAF best team in the groups stage, are looking forward to reach the final game the first time since 2010 when they were thrashed 0-4 by Egypt.

Algeria played against Nigeria on 8 occasions in this showpiece tournament. The super Eagles won four games, while the Desert Warriors secured three victories. The other confrontations ended in a draw.

Algeria are through to the semi-finals of the AFCON after beating Ivory Coast on penalties 4 – 3.

On the other hand, Nigeria qualified for semi-final spot after defeating South Africa. Nigeria took the lead in the game but were pegged back.

A late Nigerian goal at the Cairo International Stadium meant that the match was not going into extra-time.
