Alexandria Suspends Work in Gov't Offices due to Bad Weather

Mohamed El-Sherif, Governor of Alexandria announced that the governorate decided to suspend work tomorrow, Sunday, in all government departments, except for water, sanitation, ambulance, electricity, and other necessary facilities to face the wave of bad weather that Alexandria is witnessing.

El-Sherif warned citizens not to leave homes except in the case of extreme necessity, and in the case of leaving home, all safety procedures and announced instructions must be followed in order to preserve their safety.

The governor added that with the exception of department heads, work crews, and shifts, according to the needs determined by the responsible authorities, all other departments will take an official leave.

This comes within the framework of ensuring the opportunity for the relevant agencies to take all necessary measures and immediately deal with the repercussions of the instability in the weather conditions to ensure the safety of citizens.
