Al Nahar TV Anchor's Son Accidentally Killed in Zamalek

Al Nahar TV channel's anchor Marwa Mimi's son was killed on Saturday in a tragic unfortunate accident in Zamalek district.

According to the investigations, the incident happened when one of Kareem's friends, who invited him to stay with at an apartment in Zamalek, played with a pistol and accidentally fired a bullet from the pistol.

The bullet killed Kareem, 16, immediately at 2:00 am, Saturday early morning.

The residents informed Qasr el-Nil Police Station about the incident. Police investigations revealed that Kareem's friend jokingly pointed the gun at him.

The accused man was arrested by the police to hear his statements. Mimi is set to receive his son's body from Zeinhom morgue.

Mimi, who is born on October 9, worked as a TV anchor for Al Hayah and Al Nahar networks.
