Al Masry Reach Confederation Cup Last 32

Egypt's Al Masry qualified for the last 32 of the CAF Confederation Cup after smashing Malindi at Borg Al Arab 7-2 on Aggregate.

The Egyptian club started the game so fiercely as early as after only four minutes when forward Ahmed Yasser's low finish hit the Tanzanian team's net.

Malindi netted the equalizer in the 34th when their player Ibrahim Ali managed to hit Massoud's net through a wonderful header.

Ahmed Yasser scored his second goal in the game when he received an excellent cross from the left wing with a wonderful right-foot shot from the inside of the box in the 55th minute.

Six minutes later, Ihab Galal's men affirmed their deserved victory by adding the third through Austin Amutu's right-foot shot.

The Green Eagles made an ideal start to their adventure in the Confederation Cup by demolishing Malindi 4-1 in the away game on Sunday, September 15. They are taking part in this tournament as they finished fourth in the Egyptian Premier League.
