Chairman of the Committee of five that runs the Egyptian Football Association Amr Al Ganaini reaffirmed that Al Ahly player Mahmoud Kahraba, apologized to Mohamed Fadl, a member of the Committee, for what he did during the coronation ceremony of the Egyptian Premier League shield to the Red Devils.

"Mahmoud Kahraba denies that he apologized to Mohamed Fadl, but this is not true," Al Ganaini said in statements to On Sports channel in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

He added: "I affirm that Kahraba came to the headquarters of the Football Association and apologized to Fadl orally and submitted a written apology that was included in a report by the Disciplinary Committee, and there is absolutely no truth in what the player says that he did not apologize."

Al Ganaini concluded, saying: "The Football Association's statement announcing Mahmoud Kahraba's apology to Mohamed Fadl was published by mistake, but what happened between them during the delivery of the shield was ridiculously inflated, and the matter was contained within only three minutes."
