The Arab League (AL) strongly condemned on Sunday the terrorist attack carried out by the Houthi group against several economic and civil facilities in Saudi Arabia.

In a statement, an official source in the General Secretariat of the Arab League said that these hostile acts reflect once again the terrorist group’s rejection of peace efforts and also represent a flagrant violation of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) resolutions Nos. 2216 and 2624.

Moreover, the official expressed AL Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit's concerns about these continued attacks by Houthis against Saudi Arabia, calling on the international community to put an end to this destructive escalation.

In addition, Aboul Gheit reiterated the Arab League's full support and solidarity with Saudi Arabia in all the measures it takes to confront these terrorist acts and maintain its stability and security.
