Al Ahly defender Badr Benoun revealed Monday that the team players will fight fiercely to win the match against Al Duhail SC and continue their journey in the FIFA Club World Cup.
“The coaching staff speaks to us about the importance of winning the match against Al Duhail SC to go as far as we can in the competition," Benoun told Al Ahly official website.
“We have big ambitions in the FIFA Club World Cup and we hope to put on a strong performance in the tournament and meet the expectations of our fans,"
“We are only focusing on the match against Al Duhail SC and we watch their games daily to analyze the strengths and weaknesses," he added.
“Al Ahly have a huge fan base worldwide and I am so happy to defend Al Ahly’s jersey. I was so proud after the warm reception of Al Ahly fans to us upon arrival in Doha. This reception gave us more motivation to fight on the pitch and win the match against Al Duhail SC," the Moroccan defender concluded.
The Red Devils will take on Qatari Al Duhail SC on the 4th of February in the first round of the FIFA Club World Cup.
