Al Ahly football team doctor Ahmed Abo Abla revealed Wednesday that Mohamed Hany the team's right-back suffered a slight strain in the posterior muscle during the Pyramids FC game.

Hany started the Pyramids match on Tuesday evening in the Egyptian Premier League, which ended in a goalless draw.

Al-Ahly's doctor indicated that Hani's absence may be between five days or a week, which means that he could join the Red Devils' clash against Qatari Al Duhail in the FIFA Club World Cup championship.

The red team is set to undergo a medical examination, Wednesday, before traveling to Qatar to participate in the Club World Cup.

Al Ahly begin their World Cup campaign by playing against Al Duhail on February 4th, in the quarter-final round.

The winner of the Al Ahly and Al Duhail clash is scheduled to meet Bayern Munich, the Champions League champion.
