Al Ahly’s board of directors, headed by president Mahmoud El Khatib, the foundation stone of Al Ahly Stadium at the club’s premises in Sheikh Zayed City in the presence of some of the nation’s prominent figures.
The event is attending by Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, Essem El Gazzar, Minister of Housing, Utilities and New Urban Communities, Giza governor Ahmed Hafez, along with several of the club’s iconic names and former players
On their part, Al Ahly's board of directors expressed their sincere thanks and gratitude to president Abdel Fattah El Sisi for his great support to Egyptian sports and all its institutions, including Al Ahly.
On his part, El Khatib thanked the Egyptian president for supporting and easing all the procedures for the club to establish the stadium.
