Al Ahly’s first-team delegation underwent Wednesday a COVID-19 test in the team’s residency in Doha, ahead of Thursday’s FIFA Club World Cup opening match against Al-Duhail SC.

Also, Al Ahly South African boss Pitso Mosimane is set to hold a tactical video session with the players at 15:45 CLT at the team’s residency.

On a similar note, Al Ahly’s first team is set to inspect the Education City Stadium which will host the 2 teams' fixture.

However, Al Ahly will not be able to hold a training session at the Education City Stadium before the match due to the rules of the tournament.

Therefore, the red team's delegation will head to the Education City Stadium at 16:30 CLT and then the team will have their training session at Qatar’s University Stadium.

Moreover, at 17:30 CLT, Mosimane and the team's goalkeeper Mohamed El Shenawy will attend the pre-match press conference.

The Red Devils are looking forward to achieving a precious victory against Al-Duhail in order to advance to the semi-finals of the FIFA Club World Cup.

Egypt's Red team will face Qatari Al-Duhail SC on Thursday at 19:30 CLT at Education City Stadium in the championship that is scheduled from 4-11th of February in Qatar.

This will be Al Ahly’s sixth participation in the FIFA Club World Cup, with their biggest achievement being ranking 3rd in 2006.
