Saudi giants Al Ahli Jeddah signed on Sunday Zamalek’s new signing Hamdi Nagguez on a free transfer until the end of the 2021/22 season.

The Tunisian international right-back had returned back to Zamalek for a second spell earlier this summer; however, the Whites failed to register him for the 2021/22 season after a two-window ban by FIFA due to the cases of youngster Hossam Ashraf and ex-head coach Christian Gross.

Therefore, Nagguez had to spend this season elsewhere and he chose Saudi Pro League outfit Al Ahli Jeddah, filling the void foreign player spot which was left by Serbia’s Ljubomir Fejsa, who terminated his contract with the club.

The 28-year-old joined the club on a free transfer until the end of the season, before starting his contract with Zamalek at the start of the 2022/23 season, when the ban is lifted.
