Ahly’s Fans Flock to Cairo Stadium Ahead of Sundowns’ Encounter (Photos)

Al Ahly’s fans flocked on Saturday to Cairo Stadium ahead of the Red Devils most awaited CAF Champions League match against Mamelodi Sundowns.

The Red Devils are set to host the South African Club later today in the first leg of the quarter-final at 18:00 CLT.

30,000 supporters will be allowed to attend the game.

The game is set to be aired via Bein Sports and Time Sports channels. Time will have the right to broadcast this clash on the terrestrial TV channels.

The Red Devils managed to reach the knock-out stage as Group B runner-up, while the South African team, qualified for the last eight as Group C winners.

Earlier, hashtag “Africa_Ya_Ahly” or “Let’s Win CAF CL”  went viral on Twitter in Egypt ahead of the  the Red Devils most-awaited encounter against Mamelodi Sundowns in the CAF Champions League.

The eight-time African champions are set to host Sundowns at Cairo International Stadium, in the presence of 30.000 thousand fans in the first leg of the quarter-final.

Twitterers circulated the hashtag “Africa_Ya_Ahly” in Egypt, calling for the the Red Devils’ players to defeat the South African club and qualify for the semi-final to clinch the title.
