A delegation of the Africa Regional Olympic Games visited Giza Pyramids Area where they were received by Director-General of the Pyramid Antiquities Region Ashraf Mohiuddin.
During their visit, they were accompanied by the region's archaeological inspectors, who provided a detailed explanation of the history of the archaeological site and the construction of the three Pyramids and Sphinx.
Mohiuddin explained that the visit started with a tour at the entrance to the Great Pyramid and the first passage through it, then to the Sphinx.
They also were keen to record their visit by taking memorial photos in the panorama area.
“The delegations expressed their admiration for the ancient civilization and history,” he added. "The tour made them very happy which was one of their dreams that were fulfilled."
