CAIRO, Jan. 27 (SEE) - Admiral Mohab Mamessh, chairman of the Suez Canal Authority, and chairman of Suez Canal Economic Zone, inked today with Engineer Mohamed Aboul Enein, Board chairman at Eldorado for Integrated Development and Free Zones Company, a settlement agreement with regard to an area of 750,000 square meters allocated for the company in Ain Sukhna.

The agreement involves establishing 'Cleopatra' plants at the northwestern area of Ain Sukhna.

The agreement came upon instructions from President Abdel Fattah El Sisi in supporting the serious investors and encouraging expansion within the economic zone. It also came during efforts started at the economic zone to develop its lands while sustaining healthy investment climate through friendly settlements with investors in the region.

An official statement, released by the Canal Authority, quoted Admiral Mamessh saying that, since the first moment and with all means, the economic zone is keen to maintain good relations with its investors, in a way that helps to create new prospects for cooperation; establishing projects, providing services and enhancing investments. “This also would send a message that the zone goes hand in hand with the serious investors, who add through their development projects, and work to achieve the objectives and vision of the zone in supporting the national economy.”

On other hand, Admiral Mamessh pointed out to the concept adopted by the zone which is the ‘friendly settlement’ with local investors for its keenness to push the investments forward, upon Presidential instructions.

The admiral noted that with this settlement, the zone has concluded the settlements with the major industrial developers and investors in the southern region Ain Sukhna Economic Commission.

On his part, Engineer Aboul Enein said that the economic zone has played its part for this settlement to come to light after lengthy negotiations with the government, to preserve the projects of the company and this giant entity in the southern region, as well as to confirm its cooperation with investors.

He stressed that the company is keen to cooperate with the economic zone as one of the giant national projects that encourage investors and helps to create an attractive climate for investment.

On other hand, Engineer Aboul Enein hailed the economic thinking of Admiral Mamessh, and how he manages the northwestern area at Suez canal. “The Admiral works to push the investments there forward, and solve the investors’ issues, as well as getting the zone back on the track of global competency.
