A few hours ago, the first promo of Adel Emam's final play, "Bodyguard," went viral on various social media platforms due to its first-ever streaming on a digital platform since its final stagging in 2010.
Last December, the 1999 play would debut on a digital platform after 21 years.
Turki Al-Shikh, the chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA), announced the news.
The play is written by Youssef Maati and directed by Rami Emam. It marks Emam’s last stage performance, which took place between 1999 and 2010.
“Bodyguard” also starred Ezzat Abu Auf, Mustafa Metwally, Saeed Abdul-Ghani, and Sherine Seif El-Nasr.
