CAIRO, Nov.28 (SEE)-Egyptian archaeologist and director of the Bibliotheca Alexandria's Museum of Antiquities Hussien Abdel Basir confirmed that giant members of Ad tribe were not the ones who built ancient Egyptian civilization.

Members of Ad tribe were Arabs who came from Arabian Peninsula. Their capital Iram was located between Yemen and Oman. In addition, pharaohs and Ad tribe lived in different periods. Thus Ad tribe had nothing to do with the ancient Egyptian civilization, and from an archaeological point, there is no presence for Ad in Egypt.

All archaeological evidence prove that pharaohs were the ones who established Egypt's ancient civilization.

Amongst important discoveries, encountered recently, were Al Garf valley's papyri. This discovery, found near Al Suez area, prove that pharaohs constructed the pyramids, not Ad as some people claim.

Ad used a semtic language for their writings, a language that is totally different from the hieroglyph created by the pharaohs.
