Acting Syndicate head denies rumors over Youssef Chaban's death

On Thursday, Dr. Ashraf Zaki, the head of the Acting Professions Syndicate denied rumors circulated online over the death of veteran actor Youssef Chaban.

Zaki asserted that Chaban's medical condition is stable. Moreover, Zaki visited the hospital where Chaban transported for checking the actor's latest medical updates.

In the same context, actress Nehal Anbar denied all rumors related to Chaban's death, asserting that he is fine.

Two days ago, Chaban has been hospitalized at El Agouza Hospital after contracting the coronavirus.

Informed sources at the hospital shared Wednesday a new update about the veteran actor’s latest health condition.

The insiders revealed that he is being monitored through a specialized medical team and is currently in the ICU undergoing the treatment protocol.

The sources added he is on a respirator but in a stable condition and denied that he had gone into a coma.

The insiders added that Chaban performed a swab when he entered the hospital, which result is scheduled to come out on Thursday, through which it will reveal the stage of his infection.
