Orouba Misr Developments, a real estate developer, signed on Wednesday a partnership agreement with Accor Hotels on managing Novotel Hotel in Alexandria, set to open in 2023.

The new hotel will be established in the Orouba Skyline compound in Alexandria.

Accor CEO Middle East & Africa Mark Wills hailed Orouba Misr selection of Accor, saying: "Expansion was our goal."

"Our strategic partnership with Orouba Misr, as a leading real estate developer in Alexandria, will show the Novotel trademark's lifestyle in a location where the visitors and Egyptians seek to work and relax," Will added.

In turn, Eng. Hazem El Deeb, the CEO and owner of Orouba Misr, said: "We inked the agreement with Accor, the pioneering company in hospitality, to guarantee that the new hotel would support the development standards and meet the needs of its visitors and the local community."

The hotel will consist of 200 rooms on an area of 1,380 square meters at the entrance of Cairo-Alexandria agricultural road.

Orouba Skyline is the first fully integrated residential compound in Alexandria.
