On Wednesday, Parliament Deputy Speaker Mohamed Abou El-Enein congratulated President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, the armed forces, and the Egyptian people on the anniversary of the victory of the 10th of Ramadan in the 1973 war.

In a statement, the prominent MP hailed sacrifices of the army to defend the homeland and to achieve security and stability in an immortal patriotic epic, during which the Egyptian armed forces were able to prove to the whole world the greatness of Egyptians and their determination to turn defeat into a clear victory.

He also paid tribute to the memory of those martyrs of the armed forces, who paid their souls to defend the homeland and pave the way for development.

"As faithful people, we renew our commitment to stand behind the wise political leadership and the courageous armed forces, to defend every single inch of Egypt's land, without neglecting or conceding our historical rights. We also voice our unwavering support to President Sisi's strenuous steps and endeavors towards possessing power to lead the country to what we hope for progress and prosperity, and to preserve our property, our historical rights and our identity that we cannot be separated from," Abou El-Enein noted.

May Allah guide you to the good of Egypt and its people.

Notably, the 10th of Ramadan victory embodies the ability of the Egyptians to crush the impossible by wise planning and courageous implementation.

On this day the Egyptian army managed to recapture Egyptian occupied territories and restore national pride.

"The anniversary of the 10th of Ramadan victory is one of the greatest days of Egypt's modern history that was created by the military and its memory will always be remembered," President Abdel Fattah El Sisi posted on his official page on social media websites last year.
