Abou El-Enein: CBE Governor Custodian of Egypt's Treasury

MP Mohamed Abou El-Enein praised Governor of the Central Bank of egypt (CBE) Tarek Amer during a phone-in statemented with TV anchor Ahmed Mousa on the "Sada el-Balad channel.

Abou El-Enein said that Amer has great credibility in Parliament, and he is viewed as a true patriot, who provides a civilized message and has no purpose except the public benefit of all segments of Egyptian society, welcoming Amer's presentation of valuable information that comes to every intent who tries to distort the country's economy.

He added, "All the central bank initiatives launched by the CBE governor benefit all groups and sectors."

The parliament representative continued: "Amer gave many examples that are a lesson for all, who wish to undermine confidence and high morale."

"The governor of the Central Bank carried out President Sisi's instructions and gave a civilized message to withstand any malicious campaigns," he continued.

Abou El-Enein pointed out that he is optimistic about the coming period,  praising President Sisi's initiatives and directives.

"Egypt is growing," he said, adding "We will be in the first ranks of advanced and industrialized countries."

The representative also extended greetings to the armed forces and the police, who work day and night for the safety of the homeland.

On his part, governor of the Central Bank thanked Aboul El-Enein for this useful call-in, and stressed eagerness of the Egyptian government to continue the rebuilding and development strategies for the country.

"We will continue to build Egypt, as long as stability exists," Amer stressed.

Amer attributed the successful economic reforms initiated by the government in 2016 to political stability and mutual trust between President Sisi and the Egyptians.
