‘Abla Fahita: Drama Queen’ to premiere in March

Netflix, the world’s leading streaming entertainment service, unveiled the list of the new movies and shows set to arrive in March, which included TV series "Abla Fahita: Drama Queen".

The streaming service did not give any further details about the highly-anticipated show, which will consist of six episodes and distributed in more than 20 languages ​​across 190 countries around the globe.

“Drama Queen” is a Netflix Arabic original series that marks Abla Fahita’s first foray into the drama world.

The series stars Abla Fahita, her daughter Caro and her son Boudi, as well as Bassem Samra, Donia Maher and Osama Abdalla.

“Drama Queen” is directed by Khaled Marei and written by Abla Fahita.

The plot is set in an action-packed comedy-drama genre, that revolves around the pa as she goes on the run after being implicated in a crime. The series follows the measures she takes to clear her name and return to her children.

The production of “Drama Queen” kicked off in early August 2020 in various locations in Cairo, amid health and safety measures. It wrapped filming in mid-October.
