Cairo Opera House, headed by Dr. Magdy Saber, hosted Wednesday evening a music tour between Egypt and Saudi Arabia, as a part of the 30th Arab Music Festival and Conference.

Saudi singer Abadi Al Johar, accompanied by an orchestra led by Maestro Selim Sahab, gave his first-ever performance at the festival.

During his performance, he dedicated Egypt to a special song that embodied the relations between the two countries.

Al Johar delighted the audience with generational musician Mohamed Abdel Wahab’s song “Kol Da Can Leh" alongside presenting several of his songs that showcased the artistic nature of the Gulf such as “Al Mazhria”, “Lan Oateb”, and “Sheft Al Waham”.

Al Johar was preceded by Egyptian singer Mai Farouk, who thanked the Minister of Culture, the Opera President, and all the festival organizers for their tireless efforts in organizing the events.

The evening also featured a performance by the singer’s daughter Zina Ashraf, who presented Fairuz’s song "Kifak Inta", singer Sarah Sahab, and The Talents Development Centre at Cairo's Opera House.
