Farouk Hosny Foundation announced on Wednesday that the final number of the participants at the third edition of the art awards reached 749 and 1460 artworks have been submitted.
The announcement came after the deadline of receiving the submissions of the competition's Architecture contest as the foundation gave the interested architects plenty of time to submit their projects because this kind of art requires more time and work.
Therefore, all artworks will be exhibited to the concerned juries of the competition's five contests painting, photography, architecture, sculpture, and art criticism for the process of evaluation.
It is expected that the foundation will organize a group exhibition for all works that will be selected by the juries to the final round of the contest on the sidelines of the prizes ceremony at the Center of Art in Zamalek.
