The captain of the Portuguese national team Cristiano Ronaldo is going through a difficult period during his participation with his country in the FIFA World Cup finals, which are currently being held in Qatar and will continue until December 18.

Ronaldo's absence from the starting line-up for the Portugal national team against Switzerland last Tuesday, in the World Cup Qatar 2022, sparked a lot of controversy and anger, according to press reports.

According to the "Toto Mercato Web", the A Bola newspaper conducted an survey poll in the past hours about Ronaldo, and its results were disappointing for the Ronaldo.

The poll showed that 70% of the fans want to see Ronaldo outside the starting line-up for the next match against Morocco.

The vote indicated that 93.9% agreed to pay the young striker Goncalo Ramos instead of Ronaldo in the match against Morocco, as in the match against Switzerland.

Ramos, 21, had scored the first hat-trick in the current edition of the 2022 World Cup, against Switzerland, to contribute to Portugal's crushing victory (6-1).

It is noteworthy that the Portuguese newspaper conducted the same poll before facing Switzerland, and 70% of the participants demanded that Ronaldo not be involved.
