Illinois' authorities announced that six people were injured in a shooting that took place in St. Louis city, Illinois, Sputnik reported on Friday.

Authorities expressed that the accident happened when three persons opened fire on passersby during an attempt to cross the metro line by their vehicle. Shortly, the car was struck by the metro causing stopping the train.
