The Cairo International Book Fair (CIBF) affirmed Monday on Facebook that the 52nd edition of the book fair will be held from June 30 to July 15, at the Egypt International Exhibition Center in the Fifth Settlement.

CIBF, one of Egypt’s biggest cultural events of the year, was initially scheduled for January but was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The 52nd edition is held under the slogan "Egypt's Identity: Culture and the Question of the Future".

The Supreme Administrative Committee of the book fair will meet on Tuesday at the headquarters of the Egyptian General Book Authority, to review the operational mechanism of the upcoming edition.

The meeting is held under the auspice of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
