4th Sharm El Sheikh Film Festival Postponed

The Sharm El Sheikh Film Festival management postponed its fourth edition, which was set to occur from June 25 to July 1.

The edition was postponed due to sharing the same date as the Aswan International Women Film Festival.

A new date for the fourth edition has yet to be announced.

The festival is dedicating the upcoming edition to director Daoud Abdel Sayed.  It will also honor late iconic comedian Samir Ghanem, who passed away at the age of 84 on May 20.

Ghanem died after a struggle with illness. He suffered from impaired kidney function and was transferred to the intensive care unit, where he received medical care for over two weeks.
