3rd Hilton Grand Inn Hotel to Be Opened in Egypt in 2024

Hilton announced last week the signing of an agreement on establishing a third Hilton Garden Inn Hotel in eastern Cairo in partnership with Leopard Construction. The hotel is set to be opened in 2024.

The hotel will accommodate 250 guest rooms, a full-service restaurant, a fitness center, an outdoor pool, two bars, and a 300-sqm meeting space, according to Hotel News Resource.

In this regard, Vice President of Development, Middle East and Africa for Hilton Carlos Khneisser said: “With major development projects currently underway in the eastern part of Cairo, we are pleased to have signed an agreement to expand our portfolio in this part of the Egyptian capital.”

“Bringing our second Hilton Garden Inn hotel to Cairo and our third to date in Egypt reflects the vast potential of the hospitality sector in Egypt for Hilton’s focused service brands,” Khneisser added.

The hotel will be located on Ismailia desert road, East Cairo. It will enjoy a distinguished location near Cairo International Airport, the New Administrative Capital, Obour City, Shorouk City, making it a practical spot for leisure and business guests.

Meanwhile, Leopard Construction CEO Mahmoud Zayed said: "We are proud to be partnering with Hilton to operate our first hotel in the market, which ensures world-class hospitality standards and services for its guests."

"Our development, East Cairo, enjoys a prime location and we are delighted to be housing a world-class brand such as Hilton Garden Inn alongside residential, retail units, and other recreational facilities that will appeal to hotel guests," Zayed stated.

This latest agreement brings the total pipeline to nine hotels for Hilton in Egypt.
