3 Stadiums to Host Zamalek's Clashes in CL

Zamalek's officials informed the Confederation of African Football with the stadiums, which is set to host the White Knights' clashes in the upcoming CAF Champions League.

Cairo, Burj Al-Arab, and Petro Sport stadiums will host their games in the upcoming tournament.

The Whites will play against Dekedaha on Sunday, 11 August in the preliminary stage of the Champions League.

Zamalek's officials reached an agreement with the Somalia side Dekedaha to hold both legs in Cairo.

Zamalek president Mortada Mansour appointed on Friday Tarek Yehia as a temporary head coach for just a week.

In May, the Whites managed to win the Confederation Cup for the first time in their history after securing a victory in a dramatic penalty shootout against RS Berkane at Burj Al Arab Stadium (5-3).

The White Knights named their final squad for the 2019-2020 CAF Champions League on Thursday.

The squad is as follows:  

Goalkeepers: Mohammed Awwad – Mohammed Abu Gabal – Mohammed Subhi.

Defenders: Hazem Imam – Hamdi Alnqaz – Mahmoud Alaa – Mahmoud Hamdi “Alonsh” – Mohammed Abdul Ghani – Mohammed Abdul Salam – Abdullah Guma – Mohammed Abdul Shafi.

Midfielder: Tarek Hamed – Farajani Sassi – Mahmoud Abdel Aziz – Mohamed Hassan – Youssef Obama – Islam Gaber – Mohamed Antar – Ayman Hefny – Ahmed Sayed “Zizo” – Karim Bambo – Mahmoud Shikabala – Mahmoud Abdel Moneim Kahraba – Mustafa Fathi.

Forwards: Omar Al-Saeed – Mustafa Mohammed – Khaled Boutayb – Ashraf Ben Sharqi.
