Egyptian scientist Dr. Zahi Hawass, the antiquities former minister, reported that the selling of Egyptian statue ''Tutankhamun'' at the London auction was a 'black day' in Egyptian antiquities history.

During 'El Hakia' TV show via "MBC Misr", on Friday , Hawass explained that the Antiquities Minister Khaled El-Anany, will hold a meeting with the National Committee for the Stolen Antiquities Restoration next Monday to study the three proposed solutions.

The first is to sue the auction hall through an Egyptian lawyer who has volunteered to follow up the case.

The second solution includes stopping British foreign missions for working in Egypt, which gives a strong impression to the British people to respect the Egypt's antiquities.

The third is to cancel the Tutankhamun exhibition which scheduled to open next November in London.

He explained that the three solutions will be studied during the meeting of National Committee for the Stolen Antiquities Restoration; the best or three will be chosen since the London auction house has violated all international laws.

Noteworthy, the Antiquities Ministry, in cooperation with the Foreign Affairs Ministry as well as a number of executive bodies, have taken measures to stop selling King Tutankhamun head at the Christie's auction in London on 3-4 July, but the house gave a deaf ear to Egyptian effort.
