2nd Greek-Egyptian Friendship Forum Launched in Alexandria

The 2nd Greek-Egyptian Friendship Forum was launched in Alexandria by the Educational and Cultural Center of the Egyptian Community living in Greece, in cooperation with the Greek Ptolemy and the Greek Scientific Society.

The event is being held under the auspices of the  Ministry from November 15 to 23.

Nabila Makram the Immigration Minister, participated in the forum through the main event at the BA, with the participation of more than 250 people from the Greeks in Egypt and more than 120 Greeks coming abroad Egypt.

Makram explained that the forum is an extension of the events series organized between the Egyptian, Greek and Cypriot in light of the "Nostos Roots Revitalization" Initiative launched in April 2018.

The initiative include the three Egyptian, Greek and Cypriot communities which have been honored by the three state heads , followed by two copies in London and Australia; youth residents are among the communities of the three countries.

In addition, the forum aims to strengthen cultural ties and friendship values as well as highlight the common history and exceptional special relations between the two peoples.

The organizers praised the common cultural heritage and the great history that brings the two countries together.

Ahmed Attia, the Coordinator and the Egyptian Community head in Greece, said that the Scientific and Cultural Forum for Greek-Egyptian Friendship is a great cultural importance.

Attia added that the forum was initiated by the Educational and Cultural Center of the Egyptian Community residing in Greece in cooperation with the Greek Association of Ptolemy and the Greek Scientific Society.
