2021 AFRIMA: Amr Diab, Ruby, Samira Said Among Nominees for Award

Several Egyptian and Arab musicians have been nominated for the regional awards of the 7th edition of the All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMAs), which is set to take place in Lagos, Nigeria, from November 19 to 21.

Three female singers are competing for Egypt in the “Best Female Artiste in Northern Africa” regional category.

Ruby has been nominated for the song “Hetta Tanya”, Samira Said has been nominated for the song “Mon Cheri”, and Haidy Moussa has been nominated for the song “Tesd’a WTa’men Bellah”.

Among the Arab nominees in the category are Abir, Emel Mathlouthi, Jaylan, Beathoven, Latifa, Manal, Nada, and Salma Rachid.

Meanwhile, two singers are competing for Egypt in the “Best Male Artiste in Northern Africa” regional category.

Amr Diab has been nominated for the song “Ya Ana Ya La” while Mohamed Ramadan and DCR singer Maître Gims have been nominated for the song “Ya Habibi”.

Among the nominees in the category are Dizzy Dros, DJ Moh Green, Fally Ipupa, Djodje, Hamza El Fadly, ILY, Klay BBJ, L7or, Muslim, Soolking, and Zougair Bahaoui.
