Two members of the Afghan security forces were killed and 5 others were wounded, as four explosions hit the capital, Kabul, in less than three hours, in different parts of the city on Saturday.

Two improvised explosive devices (IEDs) hit two Ranger-type police vehicles in Police District (PD) 3 and PD 6, destroying one vehicle and severely damaging the other during morning rush hour, Kabul police told reporters via a text message.

One IED was detonated outside a traffic police stall in PD 8, causing no casualties but leaving destruction.

Last Sunday, at least twenty civilians were killed, and twenty others wounded as a blast hit the Police District (PD5) of Kabul, Russia Today (RT) reported, according to Afghan media outlets.

The explosion targeted the vehicle of Haji Khan Mohammad Wardak, a member of parliament from Kabul. However, Wardak survived the attack.
