2 Ministers Accompany Egyptian Expats Children in Ras Mohamed

Nabila Makram, Minister of Immigration and Dr. Yassmin Fouad, the Minister of Environment with Deputy Nadia Henery accompanied children of Egyptian expats who are participating in the camp organized by the Ministry of Immigration in Sharm El Shiekh in a visit to 'Ras Mohamed', a natural reserve in the South of Sinai.

Ras Mohamed is about 12km far from Sharm El Shiekh and it is one of the most spectacular natural spots on Earth.

This visit comes as one of the camp's activities, the Ministry of Immigration organizes for the third time in three consecutive years in Sharm El Shiekh for 110 children of the Egyptians expats whose ages range from 9 to 17 years old. They come from many countries around the world including the U.S.A, Italy, United Arab Emirates and Canada.

In organizing the sports camps, the ministry is cooperating with 'Well Spring' company.

On her part, Makram confirmed that showing these emerging generations Egypt's amazing natural resources is essential.

The kids were taken to visit 'Ras Mohamed' having distinguishable natural beauty.

Makram, in her speech to the children, confirmed that they are proud of their motherland Egypt seeing as it's one of the greatest countries throughout the history.

She added that they have to express their pride in the countries where they live so that the whole world can see Egypt through their eyes.

On the other hand, Dr. Fouad said, in her speech to the children, that some might describe 'Ras Mohamed' as God's heaven on Earth due to its beautiful natural scenery and the obvious variation between the plant, animal and marine environments, fossils that are more than 75 million years old, rich in coral reefs, and islands.

The Minister of Environment confirmed that the target of visiting the nature reserves is to make the children become ambassadors of the natural reserves abroad.

The Minister added that 'Ras Mohamed' is the first natural reserve in Egypt; it was announced officially in 1938. It has been developed till it reached 480km including 135km wild land and 345km coral reefs and marine environment.

'Ras Mohamed' is considered as one of the reserves in the green list besides being chosen as one of the best 35 natural reserves in the world.

The ping sites found at the coasts of the natural reserve are classified as one of the best ping sites in the world attracting millions of visitors from different places in the world.

The camp comes as a part of the Ministry's plan to constantly communicate with the Egyptians living abroad, to deepen their loyalty and belonging and to connect them with their motherland.

During the camps activities, Makram said that the camp comes after the success of the Egyptian Entities Abroad conference that witnessed the participation of 55 entities from 33 countries around the world.

The camp activities included a number of Egyptian songs that were presented to the kids to strengthen their interaction.

The Minister of Immigration explained that art is an international language that brings different people together and connects the different cultures.

Art also plays a great role in sharpening the children's memory and later becomes the power that connects the children with Egypt especially with Egypt's pioneering art and culture.

The Minister confirmed that Egypt has many amazing touristic places.

A competition was announced to urge the children to share Egypt's pictures on the different social media platforms.

The vanguard camps are considered to be a part of the chain of conferences that the Ministry launches for the Egyptians' abroad children from both the second and third generations, as well as the fourth and fifth generations to connect them with their motherland and to teach them the Egyptian accent.
