2 killed, 6 Injured in Train-Bus Collision in Helwan

On Monday, the Ministry of Health announced the death of 2 citizens and the injury of 6 others, in a freight train collision with a bus in Helwan, Cairo Governorate.

Khaled Mujahid, Official Spokesperson for the Ministry of Health, explained that immediately after the train accident, 16 ambulances were dispatched to transport the injured to two hospitals (Helwan General and Al-Nasr Health Insurance in Helwan). He pointed out that the injuries were minor and varied between fractures, bruises and abrasions in places. dispersed in the body.

Mujahid confirmed that all the injured receive the necessary treatment and medical care in hospitals until their health condition improves and they recover.

Mujahid confirmed that Hala Zayed, Minister of Health is following up on the developments in the health status of the injured people. She directed the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Cairo Governorate to visit hospitals to follow up on the health status of the injured and ensure that all means of medical care are provided to them.
