2 Egyptian scientists to Partake in July Marked as 'Heritage Month'

Wageh El- Maraghy and Hoda El- Maraghy, two Egyptian scientists who are currently in Egypt, are following up the existing cooperation with the Ministry of Military Production the fourth industrial revolution project in Egypt.

The Minister of Immigration Nabila Makram received the scientists in Canada as part of the preparations of the Ministry of Immigration to celebrate “July as Egyptian Civilization Month” in Canada.

Makram confirmed that celebrating the month of Egyptian Civilization was the result of the efforts of the MP Shereif Saba’awi, the Member of Regional Parliament of Ontario.

She pointed out the importance of scheduling the events, in addition to a program that would mix Egyptian cultures and arts to enrich this unique celebration; this event will strengthen the Egyptian-Canadian relations.

The minister also valued the role of the Egyptian community in Canada, achievements, good reputation and the history of their country. This celebration will include promoting Egyptian civilization and displaying the huge projects being implemented.

The efforts of the celebration

The two Egyptian scientists praised the efforts of the celebration which will demonstrate the Egyptian traditions and civilization to Canada; this move will create a strong link between Egyptians abroad and their country.

El- Maraghy showed their interest in the participation of Egyptian delegation in Canada regarding the celebration's schedule. The schedule includes important cultural programs, the History of Egyptian civilization lectures, and the great projects done by the Egyptian Minister of Archaeology such as the Egyptian Grand Museum. Also the National Folklore Bands will participate in the celebration.
