The first case of blood clotting in the US after receiving the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine, Sky News reported on Saturday.
Jeff Johnson told the Daily Mail that he suffered from dangerous side effects after receiving the Moderna jab.
He added that he was transported to intensive care due to the presence of rare blood clots a week after having the shot.
The latest detected blood clotting case may trigger the concerns of the vaccine recipients, especially after reporting dozens of blood clotting cases by AstraZeneca, and Johnson & Jonson (J&J) vaccines.
The federal authorities recommended halting the use of J&J after reporting negative feedback from the vaccinated groups.
On the other hand, several countries around the world restricted the use of AstraZeneca to be only for those aged 55 years old or more.
