The Arts Center of Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA) revealed the full lineup for its 17th International Summer Festival, which will run from July 26 to August 31, at their Open Air Theater in Alexandria.
This year’s festival program will feature many art and cultural activities such as concerts, theatre plays, films screening, poetry, and stand-up comedy, in addition to a series of workshops and lectures on various aspects of art.
The festival showcases many talented artists from Egypt and the Middle East including Omar Khairat, Ali El Haggar، Medhat Saleh, Nesma Abd Elaziz, Massar Egbari, Khaled Selim, and Mohamed Mohsen.
The International Summer Festival is a major cultural season and a tradition that the BA has established in order to add a colorful and unique taste to summer in Alexandria، according to Bibliotheca Alexandrina official website.
The BA Arts Center is keen on presenting a cultural output that balances between all new and different forms of art، as well as presenting the classics of Egyptian art، which continues to attract a perse audience.
