SEE-July 21st: The percentage of French tourists increased to 146% after years of instability. Egypt became a favorable destination for French tourists instead of Tunisia and Turkey, according to a professional French travel magazine TourMaG.

The magazine revealed that in 2010, 600,000 French tourists visited the land of the Pharaohs while in 2016 only 70,000 tourists came to Cairo.

The rising number of French tourists is because of stability and security for travelers in the country. TourMaG added.
