"SEE"s Guide to School Supplies

CAIRO, Sept 15 (SEE) - Egyptian families are preparing for schools and the new educational year by buying various kinds of school supplies.

 

"SEE" presents a guide for the families showing the prices of school supplies in different areas like Al Ataba and Al Faggala, as well as malls in Sheikh Zayed and 6th of October city.

 

Firstly, in Downtown, at Arafa Mall, the price of bags ranges from 150 to 250 L.E, while the price of the school t-shirts varies between 49 to 79 L.E, according to its quality. The price of water bottles starts from 18 to 25 L.E.

 

While, in Yehia Mall in Talaat Harb street, where it is specialized for selling school bags only, the price of bags reached 600 L.E, as there are jeans and leather bags.

 

In El Tawheed & El Nour Malls, the bags' price varied between 150 and 300 L.E and the price of white shirts ranged from 25 to 80 L.E, according to their sizes.

 

In 26 July street, there are several shops which sell school supplies particularly water bottles which come in shape of Egypt's professional footballer Mohamed Salah. The shops witnessed a high turnout to buy these bottles which price is 20 L.E.

 

In Al Faggala area, the price of a dozen of notebooks ranges between 10 and 15 L.E, according to their quality of the paper. The prices of  Egyptian pens vary from 6 to 15 L.E, while the price of Turkish and Indian ones starts from 10 L.E. For example 24 of Egypt's Prima pens are priced at 15 L.E.

 

The price of a water bottle at Hyper One Mall in 6th of October city was 700 L.E. While the price of bags there ranges between 400 and 1000 L.E.

 

At Al Morshedy Market, there are discounts and offers on the school supplies, where the price of bags varies from 90 L.E to 300 L.E, according to their quality and size.
