The annual report of the Egyptian-American Projects Fund showed last year that the fund's investments in Egypt amounted to $ 130 million.

The report pointed out that the fund attracted other investments of the same value from foreign institutions.

The investments included the acquisition of a controlling stake in Orcedia Pharmaceutical Industries from SPE Capital, previously known as Swicorp.

The fund has also expanded its investment in local investment companies, including Tamweel Capital Venture.

The fund pledged to inject $ 550,000 into the business-to-business pace of 6 billion pounds of a total $ 5.5 million investment injected in a hurry with Egypt Ventures and the International Finance Corporation.

Reports said last March that the Egyptian-American Projects Fund had begun to take a controlling stake in Egypt High Tech Seed, a company specialized in the production of crop seeds.

In December, Arqaam Capital announced the completion of the acquisition by the Egyptian-American Projects Fund of a non-controlling stake in Orcedia Pharmaceutical Industries - Orcedia Pharma.
