CAIRO, March.14 (SEE)- World Heavyweight Champion Deontay Wilder has been offered a an enormous sum of money to sign for streaming network DAZN with a view to fighting Anthony Joshua this winter for the undisputed world heavyweight title.

Wilder is set to make announcements about his future next Tuesday, following the sudden collapse of his planned rematch with Tyson Fury.

The Olympic Bronze Medalist is expected to confirm a mid-May defense of his world title against mandatory challenger Dominic Breazeale. He is also likely to approve a DAZN deal worth $80million for two fights but rising to $100m if that includes the long anticipated match with Joshua.

Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn says that makes the Wilder fight finally likely to happen but given the past breakdowns in negotiations the Bronze Bomber has put the undefeated Brooklyn-based Polish heavyweight Adam Kownacki on standby.

Wilder was last seen in a match of the year candidate fight when he drew with Fury, while Joshua currently has his sight set on Big Baby Miller, who he is scheduled to face in his US debut next June.
