CAIRO, Feb. 13 (SEE) - Newly-appointed Housing
and Urban Communities Minister Assem El-Gazzar swore the oath on Wednesday
before President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, Presidential Spokesperson Ambassador
Bassan Rady said in a statement.
"Sisi met with Prime Minister Moustafa
Madbouly and the Housing minister and tackled the future strategy of the ministry
in regards to mega developmental and logistic projects," Rady noted.
He added that Sisi instructed Madbouly and Gazzar
to exert their sincere efforts to fulfill those projects with no delay; most
importantly the new cities and the new administrative capital city.

Gazzar was appointed as the Deputy Housing
Minister on January 14, 2018, and served as chairman of the General
Organization of Physical Planning under the Ministry of Housing.
He was born on Aug. 20, 1967, in Cairo. He is
an expert in planning and strategic development in various fields such as
tourism, environment, civic services and real estate.
Throughout the last ten years, the 51-year old
minister concentrated on growth and developmental studies and strategies.
