Professor Mohamed Loutfi is the President of the Knowledge Hub – International University Institution of Egypt .Prior to this; he was the Pro Vice-Chancellor post at Cardiff Metropolitan University, Dean of International Development and had undertaken a number of leadership roles at the University of Sunderland, UK.

1- Professor Loutfi has multiple international roles of responsibility; he is a council member at the Observatory of Magna Charta Universitatum of Fundamental University Values and Rights in Bologna, a member of the board of the European Quality Assurance Agency and a Board member of ARELEN (Arab European Leadership Network in Higher Education).

2- He has become the first in Europe to take part in a global education think tank, set up by the Ministry of Education in China to promote innovation, entrepreneurship, and start-up education.

3- He also worked with the Leadership Foundation for Higher Education as an International Associate and a member of the reference group for the Global Leadership Programme for Higher Education.

In addition, he led with the ministries of Higher Education in Lebanon, Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, and Morocco to develop a framework for building capacity for leadership in Higher Education through European experiences in this field.

6- He holds a BSc in Economics and Political Science, an MSc in Information Technology and a PhD in Systems Thinking.
