According to the American News Agency CNN, the youngest American scientist Katie Bouman found out algorithm helped in unveiling the black hole for the first time last Wednesday.

The perimeter of the black hole reached out 40 billion km, which means 3 million times circumference of the Earth.

The scientist graduated from Massachusetts Technology Institute faculty of Computer science and industrial intelligence.

Beside other algorithms, the credit for black hole photography and getting the needed information of it is attributed to the algorithm which Bouman developed.

In a press release, Bouman said that the team tested many algorithms in order to get a photo of the black hole. She also added that the team tested other algorithms to know if it would lead to the same result or not.

This scientific achievement is important to know everything about this body which has high gravity.

This research was made by Everett Horizon Telescope project. It is an international project that started 2012 to monitor the black hole using a global network of telescope devices.
