CAIRO,

Feb. 16 (SEE)- The international Olympic committee German

president Thomas Bach said that the two Koreas want to walk together in the

opening of Tokyo Olympics 2020.

The two

Koreans representatives had met IOC officials in the Swiss city Lausanne, after

the positive role that the winter Olympic Games in the South Korean city

Pyeongchang had played. The two countries delegations walked together in the

opening ceremony and participated with the unified team in women's ice hockey.

Bach said

"After the conversation that we had yesterday, we could reveal the two

countries desire to participate in the Olympic Games together with unified

teams in different sports."

One of the

issues that involved the two Koreas requests to organize the summer games 2032.

Bach explained the two countries showed a great interest in this proposal.

He added

"It's a wonderful gesture for the Olympic spirit, as it's a fantastic icon

of the Olympic Games ability to unite people."
