Trump to Nominate Senior Official to Head World Bank

Cairo, Feb. 5 (SEE)- The American President Donald

Trump is expected to nominate the storage ministry senior official David Malbas

to head the World Bank.

According to the American newspaper

"The Hill" on its website, two administration officials told the

outlet that the official announcement would be made sometime later this week

after Trump's State of the Union address.

The online newspaper explained that beside

Malbas, there were also those who had been interviewed like Heidi Cruz, the wife of the American senator Ted Cruz,

and prominent investor Mohamed El-Erian.

It worth to mention that Malbas supported

Trump's decision to reduce taxes in order to boost economic growth

since he was appointed as the American treasury minister in 2017.
